FAITH

We will begin this chapter drastically, because it is here God wants us to come to know our walk with Him to know His will for our lives so we could walk, act and talk with Him, Faith in Him. Could you drive a car totally blind? The answer is no! You could not see where you were going. You would, even if you considered it, have no assurance that you would crash the car or hurt someone or go into a gully. You would not even know the distance you would travel. You would not know the path to go from point A to point B. Do you think anyone in their right mind would ask you to do this to drive a car totally blind? Neither would God ask you to go through life from the cradle to the grave without real knowing faith. He does not request of you to have blind faith but real faith. He wants you to see that your faith can be legitimately on a path, His path for you. Not a make believe path either but one based on His truth. Would you take over a large company, that you knew nothing about, making millions of dollars and run it the way you thought it should be? No, because the choices you made would contradict the way it was being operated to be successful in the first place. God wants to have a relationship with us. So we have to take Gods truth presented from the bible with the direction He presents us to choose and do with. The relationship you could have with God cannot be one sided, you presuming God will take care of everything in the relationship with no input from yourself. A relationship involves two sides. Both being heard you talking, praying and believing God and God talking to you through His word and with you being open to God to lead you. A relationship with God involves trust, promise and security, not a fear of the future and no hope. This would be an ugly picture of God if your life was always in limbo and you had no hope in your view of Him to know His love personally for yourself. God wants you to travel in life with the eyes of your faith wide open, to be successful with right choices but not just on the surface so as to not have an accident. God wants to bestow His grace on you. He wants you to know the things that are unseen, things that only He can and will reveal to you. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. As presented in His word, the bible. There are four key words in the sentence we just read faith, hope, substance and evidence. Not by your understanding as this can destroy a company that was spoken about previously. But by trusting what Gods word says.People in the old days, as it is said, used to walk by faith. They looked forward to the hope. What hope you may ask. That God and God only, would deliver these people from their fallen nature from their hurts and from their guilt. They had their eyes of faith open looking for the unseen things that God would and did reveal to them. Would you want God to reveal Himself to you with a relationship with Him based on His trust given to you or your own approach to Him in idea or concept on merit to gain His Favor? Think about it. There is a difference of the two you know. The first way denotes God blessing you with an answer from Himself. The second way denotes you attaching merit on your part to be in right with God without a trust relationship. The first way verifies true faith with a relationship with Him and the second way verifies self justification without Gods way, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Do you want Gods terms, His will, doing it His way or do you want your terms, your will doing it your way? You will have to be honest with yourself and with God in order to walk by faith. Do you mean business with God, are you contrite, or do you want to chase other ways that have no basis for Gods truth that only last temporarily? True faith is applying Gods terms from His Word and false faith is anything but a personal relationship with God by His terms. These points are being stressed so you could have an established walk with God without any false impressions of Him. God loves you! He has provided for you the only way to have this relationship with Him. Your need for yourself is that right now you could invite Jesus, Gods terms, to have this relationship we have been talking about. Do you want Jesus as your Lord and Savior as Lord turning from sin and as savior leading you? Jesus came to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, to sight to the blind and to set at liberty them that are bruised. Are you in this category? A lot of people say they are Christians never did receive him, because they will not part with their sins, nor want Him to reign over them because they want to hold on to their own way which is their own will. So if you want Gods will Tell Him verbally that you will trust that Jesus died for your fallen, not right, sinful nature and then call on Jesus to save you. Jesus did not stay in the grave He is alive and is waiting for you to acknowledge this truth, so you can have power over daily struggles. This is the only plan God will allow because then it is by faith and not by works that you are right with God and can have fellowship with Him. You still have to live a right life with Jesus’ help. Faith in Gods terms is Jesus’ life death and resurrection. Jesus does not have to repeat this in because it has already happen all God asks of you is to stand on this truth so you could speak to Him with no strings attached on your part, the issue of any wrongdoing on your part is gone. You have a free pass. Jesus is that open pass, with the cost of His life, when you come to the point of trusting him with your salvation fully. God wants to have a relationship with you. It would be pointless to go any further if you only want your will your way. It should be said now the source of all these truths comes from the Word of God, Gods word, the Bible the Holy Bible. Maybe at this time you cannot decide these questions because of unresolved issues, or hurts in your life. That’s ok. My plea is that you ask God to use these issues to draw you towards Himself. God is in the healing business. He wants the very best for you. Your soul means enough to God that is why Jesus went through everything and is now with the father waiting for you to claim, trust, grab a hold, and even invite this promise, Himself, for yourself. He’s waiting for your response. 1 Corinthians 2:5 says That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Jesus can and will save you.

Heb 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
