The Walking Dead

I see spiritually dead people walking around in agony and hurt, their soul being in pain and in ruin.
With no truth or direction or purpose in their lives.

One of them drops a wallet on the ground with a note inside that reads:

"I need hope, I need love and I need assurance"

We know that everyone, every human being, has this note written on the walls of their heart.
We all walk around hungry looking for our needs to be met.
Those of us without Christ try to satisfy that hunger with  earthly things, with dead things...things like drugs and alcohol and illicit sex, to name a few. Their needs are never fulfilled because they only wind up requiring more and more of the same empty things.
If only they were told, the walking dead, that there was a real cure to their spiritual need.

Let me share the answer with you.

God loves You and Jesus death was for a purpose.
That purpose is that you can now enter into a personal relationship with God and become spiritually alive by knowing and applying what God says in His word for you.
You see he knows our need, that we are all born spiritually dead not knowing Him.
So what did God Himself do?
He sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to earth on a mission to die on the cross for all the people. All of us human beings are born lost and ungodly and are all of the walking dead.
You see the disease of sin that we are born with separates us from the holiness of God, God is Holy, and our sins are an offense to Him, so he sent His Son, Jesus Christ to this earth to become sin for us!

When we are willing to turn from our unbelief and claim the promise of God, we can be set free. How can we do that? By calling on Jesus, who knew no sin, and who became sin for us, who took our place upon the cross and died for our offenses. Three days later He rose from the dead and and now makes intercession for us in heaven!
Call on the name of Jesus as your savior as having done this for you today.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
