The Rule Breaker

I want to share with you what happened today.
There was this individual I saw that the authorities were questioning him in regard to breaking rules.
It did not look well for him, not even speaking up for himself but he looked innocent. I overheard someone say they were going to put him down or there was going to be trouble to pay for. I wonder how that was possible.
As I heard they said he broke rules but they were never able to prove it because they could not even get anyone to agree to any of the charges to what he did in fact.
The church was even against him, go figure. The church of all people. I thought they were going to put his sorry self back in jail.
But more than likely they were going to take the poor soul out towards the dump and execute him there.

I was tired and saw that it was late so I left towards home.
As it is in our house our custom we usually ate dinner when I got home then we read something for the night.
After we finished our meal we brought out our church book and began to read the scripture for the day. We read:

~He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.~
Isaiah 53:3-10
After we were done reading we sent our children to bed my wife and I engaged in small talk.
She asked, “Honey did you hear what happened downtown” I said, “Yes, I watched some of it but I don’t think we know him.” She said, “We don’t because I heard his name was Jesus and they executed him on the cross today.”

Now if you are reading this Jesus did not stay dead but arose three day later ALIVE in hope you would call on him as having died for you, for you to know him as your Savior. When we are willing to turn from our unbelief and claim the promise of God, we can be set free. How can we do that? By calling on Jesus, who knew no sin, and who became sin for us, who took our place upon the cross and died for our offenses.
Call on the name of Jesus placing your faith in him as your personal savior as having done this for you today.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
Romans 8:2-3
