We are all on a voyage. Some on a voyage of self apart from
the
love of God going through life all alone on their own strength with no
guidance and no wisdom.
Some on a eternal voyage with God because of what His Son
Jesus did on their behalf built upon the rock.
Each voyage is within a domain. Either in the domain of
Satan's kingdom or in the domain of God's kingdom. Each one is a choice there
is no in-between.
When life's circumstances sends a storm where one might be blown away either through a tragedy or because of an infirmity or life's difficulties one finds comfort from God because of His Spirit when one is in His Kingdom because their soul has an anchor they will not be shipwrecked.
You maybe reading this and know that your on a voyage of
self apart from the love of God going it alone your house built upon the sand. You may even admit to being shipwrecked.
It does not have to be that way, did you know that?
Jesus says in Mat 7:24-25
"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and
doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a
rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat
upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock."
Your eternal voyage can be built upon the rock, an anchor
for your soul.
How?
God sent His Son Jesus from heaven to die on your behalf shedding
His blood at the cross, referred to as Calvary, dying in
your place for your wrong doing, sin. But arose from the dead three days later.
That if you would acknowledge this, believe it in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead to be justified, and call on Jesus as
your Lord for having done so you shall be saved, a relationship of trust is
born you will no longer be in the domain of Satan but you will be in the domain
of God for you will be His child. Rom 10:8-9
amen. and Jesus will meet you in the middle of the storm as well....
