Crime Scene Investigation

Come with me now as we approach a devastated crime scene.

We enter the front door passing by the kitchen through the glass doors out to the west side of the garden. We notice before us two victims taken hostage by a perpetrator. Mind you now this story is true and the names you are about to hear have been recorded.
We will try to explain from the moment of captivity these two hostages plight and their responses and the perpetrators intent.

First the perpetrators reply in making the individuals captive.

“God I wanted to throw in your face that I had power enough to take Adam and Eve captive through tempting them to disobey you in the eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

Now Adams reply,

“The woman you gave me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.”
Now Eves reply,
“The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.”
Adam disobeyed God and did not take headship to say no to Eve.

It seems to us readers that Adam and Eve disregarded their responsibility to God. Resulting in them dying spiritually to the relationship they had with God.

The year is now and a question is asked of you. Do you know God personally? Are you lost in the dark of not knowing? Did you know sin in your life separates you from knowing God and keeps you to walking in the dark?

God’s solution was to have it were your sin is removed and placed on His Son Jesus. Jesus died for sin and three days later came back to life alive for you to call out to him as Lord for this to become real for you. What will your decision be, to know God or not know God?
