The Reef Of Doubt

The Reef of doubt. Have you ever been stuck there?

Perhaps you're stuck there right now.
Transfixed on the reef that is reminding you of your guilt, disobedience or disbelief.
But you don't know how to get unstuck. You keep seeing the reef over and over again playing in your mind.

You know that you're born again because you remember when you heard Gods plan of salvation and you then called on Jesus as your Lord in which you knew your relationship with God the Father was real from that point on.

We as believers know that we sin, which causes doubt. We must admit that.  And the resolve of the relationship with God is to call it for what it is, sin. And our only course in the relationship is to tell God that you sinned proclaiming in truth that Jesus died for sin that you agree with God that you want to be conformed to the likeness of His Son by doing right and not wrong.

This will establish on your side of the relationship to believe, trust, more in the power of God than on your actions. Thus you will be listening growing learning from the Holy Spirit rather than what you do.
The Spirit of God will tell you that you're His and that you're doing right and that you're doing wrong then you will learn what to do and what not to do by His leading.

And no one not even yourself can stop that joy. His amazing love at work in your life.
That's why He is called the God of all comfort. 2 Corinth 1:3-5

Many churches will not teach one this.

Because there's a difference between one who teaches the bible and one knowing what they teach from the bible in application.

Then if doubts arise like
"How can I have a sense that I am truly saved?'
The best assurance of salvation can come from no other than the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit of God will tell you so. Rom 8:16

"Can I loose my salvation"

The Spirit of God will comfort you to let you know the answer is no.

So that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of man, not even your wisdom, but in the power of God. 1stCorith 2:5
This way we examine ourselves in reliance on Him and not ourselves.
Establishing us in the faith to grow us up.
His power for us comes nurturing comes discipline in experiencing His love.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Rom 1:17

One not relying on the Holy Spirit there will be many shortfalls many roadblocks many doubts in ones own understanding.

For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
2 Cor 13:4-5

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. 2nd Cor 1:3
