Gasoline

At my new job, a gasoline attendant, I came to understand an important truth that I know will help others who will take the time in learning how to apply it.

Any time a person that drove up to the pumps and asked for a certain amount of gas I would repeat back to the person the amount they had requested.

This allowed me to feel secure in what I was doing and it allowed me to know what the other person wanted in the amount of gas they needed. This made it so that there was no confusion or error on my part to what was said. I received an instruction, a path, and it made me know I was doing right.

Did you know God wants you to do the same in repeating back His words?

He wants us to memorize His word and repeat it back to Him so His Spirit can help you see His path for you in the instruction he gives so you can know you are doing right.

For instance you might have asked God, “How do I know that you love me.”

You can memorize this verse and then proclaim it, speaking it out.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

God in this verse tells us he loves us, when we have accepted Christ, as a Father
shows love towards His children.
