Which Father?

My wife shared a science story with me from when she was in grade school. It was a science project of planting a tulip seed in a milk carton and how to take care of it as it grows.
In her case, her seed did not grow. So, either out of pressure or wanting to feel loved and accepted she brought to school the next day a little flower and planted it in the milk carton.

Did you know some people have done the same with what they believe Christianity to be?

Either out of pressure or wanting to feel loved people say they are Christians. They have planted a seed in which they think what a Christian is and think that putting on an appearance of a pretty flower for everyone to see is acceptable and right.

But as in the case of my wife someone, the teacher, knew better and out of love explained that what she had done and believed to be right was false and told her all that it was is  that her seed did not take root. And so they planted another seed which did take root and grew the way a seed ought to grow.

So what seed of truth is planted within your life I might ask?

According to God the seed of His truth is His word.
He shares with us, “Except a man be born again He cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Are you allowing God to share his answers with you for you to grow in faith, hope and love by His Spirit being born again?
Jesus made things clear that in His word there are two fathers, one is the devil over the world and the other is Our Father in heaven. Through Jesus one can come to know His Father in Heaven.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
